I Dey Bush

Hey Everybody reading this. I got some transfer news. I am being transferred. To the bush! Kinda. It is outside of Accra though so it will be my first time serving outside of Accra. I will serve in an area called Oyoko, Koforidua. I hear it is like half Bush and half city. I'm super excited. My companion is Elder Mabuku from Zimbabwe. This will be my last area on Mission before I go home. I'm excited to start this.  The rest of this week was cool. We had an exchange on Wednesday, district council on Tuesday, and stake conference on Sunday. The chief of Ashaiman was invited to the Stake Conference and he came! Then afterwards, this little kid comes up to me and says "My dad wants a picture with you." I'm thinking like which dad and who are you kid. Then we walk with him to this truck and all of the sudden the chief gets out and we start taking a picture with him! So yeah the CHIEF wanted a picture with Elder Humpherys and I. And I should note there were plenty othe...

Chale not a whole lot this week. Was very busy on the meeting and teaching side but nothing note worthy.  On Wednesday I did have my last interview with President Young though. This is because next transfer he will be doing devotionals instead of a conference and interviews and then July 1st I get a new mission president. Crazy to think I'll have a new one for just like my last two months or so. It was a good interview.  We also had our zone council meeting that Elder Humpherys and I ran. Was also a good meeting that went well.  Friday I was in a trio since Elded Humpherys had to go to Accra for a meeting. I was with Elder Brima from Sierra Leone and Elder Banamwana from Rwanda. Good missionaries. I'm grateful for them.  Elder Humpherys and I have been working hard these last few weeks trying to help the area and it feels good. Always work to be done. I also totally missed May the 4th be with you but it's alright.  Yeah so that's it for this week. Trust me it wa...

Good day to all of you! What a pact week we had. Lots of change and some awesome news!! So let's talk and see what we got. We had our transfers on Wednesday. It was sad to see Elder Loving leave and for him to say goodbye to everyone. I'll miss him but my new companion is Elder Humpherys and he's pretty cool. He is from Utah and goes home in July. We have some good work here.  Friday we had our Mission Leadership Coucnil and got some good news! Elder Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be coming for a devotional to the Ghana Accra Mission and Ghana Accra West Mission on June 15th. So that was super cool to see and I'm excited. First time in a while that an Apostle is coming to speak to the missionaries in Ghana. Also at our meeting, the 11th person baptised in Ghana came and spoke to us and shared his testimony. It was beautiful and his experience was crazy. Come to me after Mission sometime and I'll talk about it. Let's just say the church was up and...
