Another one down. Another week in the past. Here's to the next. Alright so what happened this week? Good question. Let's find out together.      Tuesday We had our District Council meeting. It was good. Couldn't complain. Then we went to go teach afterwards and then some deadly rains came upon us. We were out teaching so we found some cover under this shack but it felt like a hurricane was about to consume us. Crazy rain. So it rained the rest of the day and kinda mess up our day so that was fun.     Wednesday. So some background info. A chief died in Tema some time ago and this week they were replacing him with another. In doing this a lot of traditionalist come out at night and let's just say it's similar to the purge. I'll save the details for when I get home hehe. So basically starting this day all the way to Sunday we had to be back inside by 6pm before it got dark. They call it the Black Out. But other than that we had some good teaching appointments throu...

My People!

Hello my people! There's this Muslim lady who always yells "My People!" Everytime we walk by her, she's pretty funny. Alright this week was pretty good actually. Had a lot go down so let's talk about it.     Tuesday we just had several lessons with some people. Taught a lot of people so nothing to interesting.     Wednesday we had zone conference! It was pretty good, I really enjoyed this one. We had a senior couple come in and talk about the church history of Ghana and Nigeria and how the church came about here and its a really cool story. Was spiritual. Was also good to see a lot of my friends that I haven't seen in a while. Was a good day.     Thursday we were out of our area again because of an exchange. If you don't remember an exchange, that is when I switch companions for the day with my District Leader. Was good and had fun time.      Friday we did our weekly planning for the week. Afterwards we went teaching with one of our members. ...

Hello my friends and family. This week had its ups and downs but was a solid week. Let's talk about it.     Monday I went to get my non citizenship card renewed and I saw all of my people that I came out with to Ghana! It was way cool to see how all of us have grown and become closer to each other. We had to leave early in the morning to get there and I rode with a good friend of mine Elder Simpson. It took pretty much the whole day to renew them because that's just how Ghana roles but eventually we got them and went back home late at night. Was a fun day.     Tuesday we had our zone council meeting. It was alright. We talked about our zone goals and had some trainings. Was good to see the people in our zone. Afterwards we taught several more people in our area.     Wednesday was good. We had some meetings fall through but we met with a girl named Lilian who seems very interested which was way cool to teach her. We meet with her again this coming Sunday. ...

Good evening everyone!!     So tomorrow I have to renew my non citizenship card so I won't be around in the morning so I'm writing my email now for this week. But let's talk.     So last Tuesday we had interviews with the president. President Young was sick so we did them over the phone. Nothing too interesting other than it sounds like I may leave Zenu after I'm done training Elder Bentley. After all of that we went around teaching all day.      Wednesday we had to wait a while to get some supplies from the mission office and then after that we went teaching again for the day.     Thursday we had our weekly planning as usual and then we had Stephanie interviewed for baptism and she passed! After that we taught a recent convert about the new for strength of youth.     Friday we had a lot of lessons all around. Around in the afternoon time we went to go teach a kid named Herbert and by the end of the lesson there was about 20 kids we...

Hello Everybody.      This week has been full of lots of learning, patience, and Love.     Tuesday we had our last District Council. It was good and we said goodbye to the people who were leaving. Afterwards we went around our area so Elder Miller could say goodbye to a few people and then he had to pack. Not whole lot happened this day.     Wednesday. Wednesday started real early at 4:40am to get dressed and to look for a taxi to take us. Just with our luck it started to down pore and we got pretty wet haha. Eventually we found someone who would take him and we loaded our selves and took off. Traffic was horrible but we got to our stake center Eventually and then they sent me off to the mission office. Once I finally got there they did like a 10min training for the trainers and then we met our trainees. So the moment you have all waited for, my new companion is Elder Bentley from Utah haha. He is a pretty good guy and he is determined to work so he wi...
