Growth And Experience

What a week it has been. This has been a really good week and lots of learning and experiences. I'll share one of my favorite experiences thus far at the end.     Tuesday we had our interviews with President Young and mine went well. He kind of told me why I'm paired up with my companion and the things I can do to help him. After that we went and got some food with the other Elders with us. Later this day we went around and did some contacting to finish off.     Wednesday was a great day with a mix of appointments going through and contacting around. We were having quite the problem of making appointments because nobody wanted to meet with us but we were able to make a few. Overall a good day.     Thursday we were able to do some weekly planning and contact. Later in the day we met with our Muslim Friend Fattah. He's a really cool guy and I always learn lots from him about the Muslim religion. We always just exchange knowledge with him and find plenty simil...

Hello Everyone!      This week has been full of its ups and downs. I've had to get used to a lot of things and lots of change. Which I see as a good thing but doesn't mean it ain't hard sometimes. Nonetheless we try to do better each day.      Last Tuesday we had our last district council of the transfer and said our goodbyes to the people leaving. Sawyer wanted to get some last minute items around in our area so after the district council we went and got this things. That night we also met with a member and had a nice meal and Elder Sawyer said his goodbyes.      Wednesday morning we were up early and at the stake center ready to send Elder Sawyer off to Hohoe, the farthest area in the mission. After we sent him off I was there waiting for my new companion. About and hour an half later he showed up and we went to our area. Elder Nicholes got settled in and then we went around the area for a little bit. It's a weird difference finally being S...

Mepacho anti-san? Chale howfa?     Another week, lots of rain. This week has been good and colder! Some good appointments and a fresh cut.     Tuesday we had a great district council meeting. We learned a lot and had a great time with the other missionaries. Was a fun time and went into the market and was cool. That took most of the day and was able to meet one person that evening. His name is Kendrick and he's always happy to see us. Not sure if it's because we are missionaries or he thinks we are taking him to America. Nonetheless he's a cool guy haha.     Wednesday was NICE. It was a testament that it is now rainy season. It rained for a good portion of the day and hard! This was very nice because it made the air very cool. Well cool for me, probably just dropped down to the lower 80s lol. But it was awesome. It did make everything muddy and then people didn't want to meet with us but that's ok. I also was able to get a haircut this day and it looks alri...
