6 Months Left?

Hey Everybody! Hope you've been well. This email won't be too long because not a lot happened but still got to write.  Last Monday I wrote about Shai Hills. Again was a great place to see and a fun adventure seeing all of the views.  Tuesday we did a lot of finding and knocking on gates to meet new people. That whole day. Good times. Wednesday we had a zone conference! It was a much needed one also and the spirit was strong there. The whole conference was centered on Jesus Christ. How he suffered for us, the difference between Grace and works, Mercy and Justice and how we can help people better come closer to Him. Was great!  Thursday we did some plannings and taught people. In the evening time we went to an area in our zone to do an exchange.  Friday we were in an area called Official Town and doing some of our work there. Cool place, it is more in deep ashaiman. I went with Elder Layton and Loving went with Elder Conder.  Saturday we were back in Bethlehem doi...

I Had A Dream

Another week down people! This week was a nice one. This email will be a little different than my other ones because I really just want to share an experience a new member told us he had. A really strong guy with lots of faith. But before I talk about that... Yesterday we went to Shai Hills! Was a really cool reserve with baboons and zebras and other animals. We also did like this four hour hike and was very sweaty but a fun time nonethless.  We also had an exchange this week with some good Elders. Nothing to much out side of that this week though.  Now for the experience. (Note-> I was not here for this experience but I was told it by him directly)  This guys name is Emmanual. We taught him more about temple work this week and he shared his conversion story with us.  Emmanuel had a cousin who died 10 years ago. His cousin, he says, "was a wicked wicked person." He said if you had ever offended him he would be very cruel in punishing you. He was so mean that when ...

First full week in Bethlehem. Its nice here. And God knows why I am here. Sorry for this email being a little late. Been busy so I'm writing now. Hope you all have had a good week though. Let's talk about mine.  Tuesday was a busy day. We zone council and it was the first time I conducted it. This is the meeting where our whole zone meets together and we talk about our goals and how we want to improve for the transfer (the next 6 weeks). Then we have some trainings to help us how to improve. Was a good and edifying time. Aftwards we were able to meet some of our friends we are teaching.  Wednesday we had interviews with president Young. It was a good interview and had a good conversation. Not much happened afterwards though. We were able to teach some cool people and some new members and help them grow in the church.   Thursday we did a lot of finding and knocking on compound gates. Its a interesting experience. Had a guy come out in a towl with tooth brush in mouth ...

We In Bethlehem

What's up my peeps. We finally here and ready. This week was very busy with learning and adjusting to the new area and assignment but we learning a lot. I'm excited for the change and what's around. Leaving sangonaa and Elder Odedina and Elder Mbuyi was sad but they will do good work over there. The members were sweet and they gave me a good goodbye and I have come to love them very much. Wednesday was transfer day so I moved on out of there and came to my new area. As a zone leader you have to deal with transfers and keep track of where people are going and who is leaving you and who are you receiving. When I got to my new zone, I was one of the last people to show up and my new companion Elder Loving was doing it all by himself when I got there. But we met and got reunited after around 4 months of not seeing each other and carried on with our day. He's only been zone leader for one transfer so he is also fairly new to this but he is doing his best to show me how thing...
