Plenty Things

Good day to all of you! What a pact week we had. Lots of change and some awesome news!! So let's talk and see what we got.

We had our transfers on Wednesday. It was sad to see Elder Loving leave and for him to say goodbye to everyone. I'll miss him but my new companion is Elder Humpherys and he's pretty cool. He is from Utah and goes home in July. We have some good work here.

Friday we had our Mission Leadership Coucnil and got some good news! Elder Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be coming for a devotional to the Ghana Accra Mission and Ghana Accra West Mission on June 15th. So that was super cool to see and I'm excited. First time in a while that an Apostle is coming to speak to the missionaries in Ghana. Also at our meeting, the 11th person baptised in Ghana came and spoke to us and shared his testimony. It was beautiful and his experience was crazy. Come to me after Mission sometime and I'll talk about it. Let's just say the church was up and running here before The church even knew that people in Ghana were about it. Faithful people.

Saturday I met some more friends. Deaf friends that is. In the evening time we were biking and I look over where Joyce normally is and to my surprise there was a whole group of people signing to each other. So I went over there and jumped on in haha. I knew two of them. Joyce and Bright. It was fun to sign with them and get to know them. One of them seemed a little skeptical of me but then my boy bright was over there convincing her that I was very good and is happy when he sees us haha. Stuff like this is what I'll miss in Ghana. Cool experience.

Sunday we had a good time at church. Elder Humpherys was getting to know some of the members and their places. Afterwards we went to a part member family and we taught for a little bit and then they fed us. I just had a full meal before coming so I was in trouble. They fed us fufu with snail, cow feet, and cow intestine. Uhhhh. Yeah was a good time.

Thats about it for this week. Was a good week. This transfer is shortened because of some transfer changes which means I'll get home a little earlier too. About 5 days. So this transfer ends June 1st. It's also our last full transfer with president Young since he goes home in July. So a lot of stuff going on. Love you all though! And miss you too. Let me know how life is going! Till next week ok.

Much Love,

Elder Busschau.
