Grind Time
Chale not a whole lot this week. Was very busy on the meeting and teaching side but nothing note worthy.
On Wednesday I did have my last interview with President Young though. This is because next transfer he will be doing devotionals instead of a conference and interviews and then July 1st I get a new mission president. Crazy to think I'll have a new one for just like my last two months or so. It was a good interview.
We also had our zone council meeting that Elder Humpherys and I ran. Was also a good meeting that went well.
Friday I was in a trio since Elded Humpherys had to go to Accra for a meeting. I was with Elder Brima from Sierra Leone and Elder Banamwana from Rwanda. Good missionaries. I'm grateful for them.
Elder Humpherys and I have been working hard these last few weeks trying to help the area and it feels good. Always work to be done.
I also totally missed May the 4th be with you but it's alright.
Yeah so that's it for this week. Trust me it was good though. Just a lot more of the behind the scenes type of work. We did a lot of teaching and finding so it was good. But I'll talk to you all again next week. Yeah I know I sucked at pictures this week too. But there's always next week! Love you all! Till next time.
Much Love,
Elder Busschau.
One lesson I forgot to add that was am eye opening experience was this,
This week we had some great lessons. One that stood out was a special lesson with Mawusi. Her sister is a member and she has been taught by many missionaries before. She can't really speak english, but she can speak Asante twi very well. She understands the restoration well but had a hard time accepting the Book of Mormon. So last Wednesday we decided to give her a Asante Twi Book of Mormon so she can read and fully understand our message. During our lesson we had she and her sister read together 2 Nephi chapter 29, which talks about God continuing to reveal his word to more nations than one. It was so cool to see her actually understand the message we have been trying to explain to her in English. As we were teaching her and watching her read out loud the words of the Book of Mormon in Twi, a scripture came to mind which was coming to pass before our eyes: "For it shall come to pass in that day, that every man shall hear the fulness of the gospel in his own tongue, and in his own language, through those who are ordained unto this power, by the administration of the Comforter, shed forth upon them for the revelation of Jesus Christ" (Doctrine and Covenants 90:11). Following the reading she simply said in Twi "I need to pray about this". So we're also praying for God to answer her prayers.
