That's A Week.

Busy week. Interviews, meetings, and more interviews. Hope your guys week was just dandy. Ours was good. Not a whole lot to write about though. So I'll see how this goes.  Tuesday we had interviews with our president. Was good and helpful. Afterwards we went around teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Wednesday we had our zone council meeting. It was good and also went well. We tried to focus on how each of the missionaries can Improve from where they are. Had a lot of good comments. Afterward we taught more people.  Thursday Friday and Saturday we did baptismal interviews for our district leaders. Everything around those we taught other people.  Sunday was great. I taught the Elders Quorum class (class for the men older than 18) went well. Then we went to check up on the Elders quorum president because he just got surgery. We also went to the stake presidents House and visited with his family since he was the one driving us around. Then evening time we did reports. ...

Another week in the books. My last birthday on Mission done. I'm now to the full grown age of 20. Going to be honest not a lot happened this week. So sorry for another short email.  Tuesday we had a great district council and birthday. Some people sang to me and then I got some ice cream as you guys already know. Wednesday was the transfer day and everything went smoothly. No complaints.  Thursday we did a lot of planning and setting goals for the zone this coming transfer. And then taught a lot of people.  Friday we went to Accra for Mission Leadership Council (MLC) and talked about the mission. Was a cool meeting and we learned more about Jesus Christ and how he is our main message. Afterwards we planned for more meetings we will have this week. Saturday we went around and taught a lot of our friends. A good day.  Sunday we had a great time at church and we were able to confirm brother Kofi! Probably one of the biggest miracles we have seen is his wife turning a co...

Late Birthday

Hey Everybody! Sorry this email is a little late and I don't have too much time so its not going to be long either. But I want to say first thank you all for your birthday wishes! I really appreciate all of them!  This week has been pretty good. Not too much really happened though to be honest. We had an exchange with some Elders in my zone. We did however have an amazing baptism for brother Kofi! Really dedicated guy and has been working hard to get to this point. We are proud of him. And now his wife wants to be baptised so we will try to start teaching her.  The new transfer starts today. No change for me and Elder Loving but just a few in our zone. I only have 4 more transfers now. Crazy. My birthday was good for those of you wondering. I had rice and egg haha. But I did get some ice cream so there's a celebration. Even though it may not look like one I'm grateful to be here on my mission for this time. Wouldn't trade it for anything else. I love and miss you all!  ...

Truth And Love

Wow long week Chale. Was a good week though! We've been going around and working hard. Let's talk about it. Tuesday we had a district council meeting and then we went finding (tracting) for people for a very long time and then we went to Accra in the evening time for an exchange with the APs. That night was the first night I have slept in A/C for over a year and a half. Probably the best night I've ever slept in Ghana haha. No joke though I did wake up freezing so that was cold.  Wednesday we were in the APs area called Jamestown. It's a cool area and very diverse. It also has the art market which is just filled with all the African art you could think of. I was with Elder Callister and I learnt a lot from him. Pictures will be below. I also saw the Black Star again. Thursday we were back in bethlehem and we did some plannings and went out again. Mainly taught a few people and then went around meeting some people we have previously met. Also apparently word got out in t...
