We In Bethlehem

What's up my peeps. We finally here and ready. This week was very busy with learning and adjusting to the new area and assignment but we learning a lot. I'm excited for the change and what's around. Leaving sangonaa and Elder Odedina and Elder Mbuyi was sad but they will do good work over there. The members were sweet and they gave me a good goodbye and I have come to love them very much.

Wednesday was transfer day so I moved on out of there and came to my new area. As a zone leader you have to deal with transfers and keep track of where people are going and who is leaving you and who are you receiving. When I got to my new zone, I was one of the last people to show up and my new companion Elder Loving was doing it all by himself when I got there. But we met and got reunited after around 4 months of not seeing each other and carried on with our day. He's only been zone leader for one transfer so he is also fairly new to this but he is doing his best to show me how things are done and what I need to do. He's doing great.

Rest of the week we were mixed between actually doing work in our area and doing work for zone leader stuff. But the area has some cool people in it. Bethlehem is similar to zenu except there is a train track going through our area. Ghana has been building this train track for quite a while and once its finished it will connect from the ocean all the way through the country or at least the northern parts.

The Bethlehem Zone is also cool. So you don't get confused, I am in the Bethlehem Area that is in the Bethlehem zone. There is about 11 companionship and areas so about 22 missionaries that we are over. Will be cool to get to know them all.

On Friday we had a meeting called MLC which is mission leadership Council. This is where all the zone leaders and Sister training leaders go for a meeting with President and Sister Young and talk about how the mission is going. Was a cool meeting with a lot of insight and how things work. Plus they give us pizza afterwards so it was a win.

Elder Loving is cool. Like I said we were in the same district back in the MTC so we have some history. It's crazy we are actually companions now but we will be able to learn lots from eachother so I'm happy to be with him.

Just to finish up I've seen some traditional funerals already, more like parade with traditional drums and dancing to celebrate life. Was a cool way of seeing things. These funerals can last for a whole week just full of activities and events and traditions to celebrate the life of the loved one. Cool to see. Also one of our recent new members has stocked me and now knows my whole name and birthday and where I live so that's fun. Interesting people.

It's been a solid week over all though and I'm learning lots so we will see how this week goes. We have zone council which will be my first one as a zone leader and then interview's with president so I'll keep you updated on those in the next one.

I love you all and miss you, so write me if you want. I'll read them. So till next time.

Much Love,

Elder Busschau.
