John 14:27

Hello my friends and family. This week had its ups and downs but was a solid week. Let's talk about it.

Monday I went to get my non citizenship card renewed and I saw all of my people that I came out with to Ghana! It was way cool to see how all of us have grown and become closer to each other. We had to leave early in the morning to get there and I rode with a good friend of mine Elder Simpson. It took pretty much the whole day to renew them because that's just how Ghana roles but eventually we got them and went back home late at night. Was a fun day.

Tuesday we had our zone council meeting. It was alright. We talked about our zone goals and had some trainings. Was good to see the people in our zone. Afterwards we taught several more people in our area.

Wednesday was good. We had some meetings fall through but we met with a girl named Lilian who seems very interested which was way cool to teach her. We meet with her again this coming Sunday.

Thursday we did our weekly planning meeting for the week. After that we tried to do some finding and met with a member. We had a meeting with our 2nd councilor about the ward also. It was good but it just kind felt like he was saying "I have all these ideas that I want us to do but I don't have time so you guys plan everything and follow up with everyone..." not that fun but we are trying our best here haha.

Friday we just taught several people and went finding. The only interesting thing this day was in the evening we had a lesson with a girl named bridget and we were able to help her over come some guilt of something she has done and got her to come to church!! She's felt so guilty over something thats not even a sin the past few months that she hasn't come to church or any church for that matter so it was cool to see her come. The spirit worked through us that day.

Saturday we taught around atadika in the morning and then went to katamonsu to teach our people there. Nothing too interesting except that it started to rain really heavily and got really muddy haha. So that wasn't too fun but we made it.

Sunday was a good day at church. Had some more meetings on how to help the ward which ended up not being super helpful but we will try our best to work with them. Evening time we went and taught a family and I gave away my first twi Book of Mormon. Most of the people who can speak twi here can't read it so that is why I don't hand them out but yesterday was a first because she could read twi so that was cool. Also I found the deaf guy who I met a week earlier and we talked a little bit. He's also a really cool guy. It's so fun signing with him.

That's it for this week. Had some cool parts and not so cool parts but nonetheless we are thriving out here. This week we have zone conference and exchanges and another meeting with our 2nd councilor so it will be a busy week (pray for me lol). I love hearing from you guys and hope you are all safe from the fires that I am hearing over there! I'll be praying for you people! Love and miss you all very much! Till next week.

Much Love,

Elder Busschau.
