New Companion And Easter.

Hello Everyone!

This week has been full of its ups and downs. I've had to get used to a lot of things and lots of change. Which I see as a good thing but doesn't mean it ain't hard sometimes. Nonetheless we try to do better each day.

Last Tuesday we had our last district council of the transfer and said our goodbyes to the people leaving. Sawyer wanted to get some last minute items around in our area so after the district council we went and got this things. That night we also met with a member and had a nice meal and Elder Sawyer said his goodbyes.

Wednesday morning we were up early and at the stake center ready to send Elder Sawyer off to Hohoe, the farthest area in the mission. After we sent him off I was there waiting for my new companion. About and hour an half later he showed up and we went to our area. Elder Nicholes got settled in and then we went around the area for a little bit. It's a weird difference finally being Senior Companion. Every decision is ultimately up to me now and Elder Nicholes is only three months out so just out of training.

Elder Nicholes is interesting to say the least haha. We are quite the exact opposite from eachother and have nothing in common except the work so here we are. This is going to be a growing transfer I can tell haha. Day by day I get more comfortable and confident as I lead this area but there is still lots to learn.

Thursday we had some good appointments planned but then every single one of them fell through. We then went contacting around for a couple hours and went to institute with the Legon Branch.

Friday we had zone council which was interesting because we usually have it on Tuesday but this Tuesday we have interviews with the President already so we had to movie it this last Friday. Was a good council and afterwards there was a sports event for the Legon Branch and some other wards so that was fun to watch.

Saturday was another day of all of our appointments falling through and hours of biking around. I should mention Easter is a holiday where people get work and school off here so I suspect that's why our appointments were falling through and because of rain.

Sunday was a nice difference. Going to church and seeing all the members and it being Easter! I really like the message of Easter and even though people didn't really talk about Easter over here, it was nice have it. Happy Easter Everyone! We also had a good appointment with a new person with member so that was refreshing.

Anyways this week was surprising and lots of unexpected but we are trying our best out here. I'll be trying my best to get along with my new companion and also teach him how teach in the city since he has only taught in the bush. And yes, there is a good difference in how you teach. Love you all and miss you all! I'm grateful for all the support.

Best,

Elder Busschau.
