The Ball Is Rolling

Transfer travel extravaganza. Fast and furious meets transfer day. We may have been drifting down a mountain going 80mph in a van scared for my life. Good times. What a week.

Elder Mabuku is home now. Love that guy. Monday and Tuesday he was saying goodbye to lots of people and we also tried to teach some other friends. Tuesday night I got my temporary companion named Elder Hoopes. You may recognize the name, good friend of mine. Then Wednesday morning Mabuku left to Accra to go home. Wednesday was a good day just trying to plan some last minute things and teach.

Thursday was a hectic day. I was doing transfers all by myself since Elder Mabuku had to leave a day before. Was quite an experience since our driver thought he was in fast and furious but with a prayer and telling him it's ok to slow down, we are alive another day. To be honest it was all fun and cool to run everything though. To explain transfers a little bit, we have to pick up everybody in our zone that us getting transferred and all their bags and bikes, and then drive them all down to Accra and then drop them all off at their individual zones they are being transferred too. Then at the same time pick up missionaries who are being transferred into my zone and to bring them back to their areas and I had to coordinate all that by myself and then execute by myself. Whole process takes about 8-10hours since we are far from Accra. Good times. Luckily didn't loose any bags this time. Also picked my new companion in all of this. His name is Elder Wood, he is a new zone leader so I still have to teach him how to do everything. Cool guy though.

Friday we had our face to face MLC meeting with President and Sister Beeson. Was cool to hear their insights for the mission and their goals. They teach differently than President and sister Young but it is cool to see a different style. Both great teachers.

Rest of week was showing Elder Wood the area and teaching him the things he has to do. Good week and a busy one. The subject of the email is just meaning the last transfer has started, the ball is rolling. Only 5 more emails after this one. Still lots to do but can't help but think sometimes. I'm so stoked to come back. Just doing what I can with the time I have left. Don't know when I'll see this place again and that's the sad part. But that's for next month. I still have the time I have right now.

Love you all. Remember all the good God has done for you. The best attitude is an attitude of gratitude. Didn't mean to rhyme there haha. Till next week.

Much love,

Elder Busschau.
