The Day Has Come, For A Lot Of Things.

Aye long time. Been some days. Hope all of you are doing well! It's been a great couple of weeks. Let's talk.



Starting last week we had a great devotional with President and Sister Young. Talked about going home and some advice for us. Then they took us out to a very nice lunch at an italian restaurant and ice cream after. It was beautiful. They go home tomorrow so it's crazy. President and Sister Beeson are in the country now. So excited for them.



The rest of the week was good. Lots of good work. I've been having some powerful personal studies and I know the Book of Mormon is true. I've had some great spiritual experiences lately. 



This past ween has been great too. Monday we worked, was a long day as you can guess haha. Not as bad as I thought it would be though. Thursday I had a meeting called "Finishers Wanted" that talked about finishing strong and some things that I needed to know about going home. Still all feels so unreal. So cool to the growth though and see the efforts close soon. 



Today I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the temple of God. Was a wonderful time and spirit was also strong there. It was the first time I've attended in almost 2 years. The Ghana temple is beautiful. 



I also had a exchange on Wednesday with my boy Elder Hoopes so that was cool. We went to the mountains of my area to find and let's just say we had a good time trying to find people up there. 



The work has been great in Oyoko and I'm loving it up here. Just trying to make the most of the time I have left and to continue to build and nurture my relationship with Jesus Christ. My love is great for him. 



I also love all of you. Write me if you have a second. Would love to hear from you. Keep going, keep trusting, the peace is coming. God knows you and is making you become who he needs you to be. And trust me that's where you'll be most happy. He is the Gardner, the Father, and our all.

The Last *Full* Week

Yep, you read it correctly. This upcoming week is my last Monday to Sunday on mission. The week after I go home. Fly home that is. What an exhilarating time to be in. I am excited. But till that day comes, I'm here working and putting my last finishing touches in Ghana. The work is sweet, divine, and no where near my own work, but I'm here helping it.  This past week we've had some interesting experiences. We met an old African American women who was anti and didn't like white people. Was sad to see, someone so lost believing anything she sees online and giving no time or thought to the actual truth. Where truth is the spirit manifests itself, during that conversation there was no spirit, and not an ounce of happiness from her face. The gospel I Share brings joy to my heart everytime and to others it is shared with, as they embrace it. Please remember this when going around sifting through truth. The Home Stretch

I'm just going to say sorry right now that these last couple emails are probably going to be short because there's just a lot of preparation going on and just a lot of teaching, nothing big is really happening right now. So with that... I had a good exchange on Wednesday with some Elders. I went with Elder Miles from Utah. He has a lot of potential.  We did a lot of finding this week with trying to find new people to teach. We will always see some funny sign boards or some weird name of a place. This week I found New York! Pic below. We also just went up some mountains trying to find people. Even the mountain people need the gospel and ordinances. Good times.  Now we are up to Busschau 3 - Rat (we have found out that these are RATS) 0. That's what they get for peeing on my clothes.  So I have 2 more pdays after today. Busschau 2 - Mouse 0

Yeah we have a mouse problem. Let's just say these little guys don't live long when I see them. I can send pictures If asked for. Hope all of you are doing well! I've had a pretty good week. We had our first interviews with President Beeson. It was wonderful, I'm very grateful for his inspiration and advice. I can feel he was truly sent to this mission for a purpose.  This week we were able to put one of our good friends on date for baptism. Her name is Sister Vida and she is a mother to 5 children. She has been being taught by missionaries for long time and finally I get the privilege to be the missionary who will witness her baptism (hopefully). She has shown lots of faith and we've had some great spiritual lessons with her. Hopefully she will keep to her commitments and she will be baptized on the 19th August.
