I Fulfil Prophesy Everyday

 I fulfil prophesy everyday says Elder Gong. That's got to be pretty cool. What a great week this week. I'll hit on the main points.



We had to wake up on Wednesday at 3am. Then pick up our whole zone on a mini bus then make the drive down to Accra. Beautiful drive but long. We had a great devotional with Elder Gong. Spirit was very strong and the teachings were powerful. Talked about being a disciple of Jesus Christ and fulfilling prophesy. Was so cool. I also saw a lot of my mission friends which was amazing. One thing Elder Gong said that I really enjoyed is that most people think we are called to a place. But rather we are called to people whether that's a companion we need to be with or a mission leader or even a investigator or member. And that calling missionaries was one of the more revelatory experiences they have. I have definitely seen that I have been called to a people and specefic people. God is Good. The work is divine. 



Rest of the week was good. We just did some good work in Oyoko. We have some good progressing people but they all have their individual problems that they are going through but they are all pushing. Good people. 



I also wanted to say a big Happy Father's day to all the dads out there and also my very own! I wouldn't be who I am with out you. And I'm grateful for my Heavenly Father for guiding us. Love you!



But thats about it for this week. Next couple weeks will be busy. This Wednesday my zone has our devotional with President and Sister Young because of them going home. So I'm going back down to Accra. Then in two weeks Thursday I have a meeting that talks about going home and finishing strong. And then next week Friday I go to the temple! Will be the first time I have gone in about two years so I am way excited. But this also means I won't have my next pday until next week Friday. So that will be the next time you will be hearing from me.

The Last *Full* Week

Yep, you read it correctly. This upcoming week is my last Monday to Sunday on mission. The week after I go home. Fly home that is. What an exhilarating time to be in. I am excited. But till that day comes, I'm here working and putting my last finishing touches in Ghana. The work is sweet, divine, and no where near my own work, but I'm here helping it.  This past week we've had some interesting experiences. We met an old African American women who was anti and didn't like white people. Was sad to see, someone so lost believing anything she sees online and giving no time or thought to the actual truth. Where truth is the spirit manifests itself, during that conversation there was no spirit, and not an ounce of happiness from her face. The gospel I Share brings joy to my heart everytime and to others it is shared with, as they embrace it. Please remember this when going around sifting through truth. The Home Stretch

I'm just going to say sorry right now that these last couple emails are probably going to be short because there's just a lot of preparation going on and just a lot of teaching, nothing big is really happening right now. So with that... I had a good exchange on Wednesday with some Elders. I went with Elder Miles from Utah. He has a lot of potential.  We did a lot of finding this week with trying to find new people to teach. We will always see some funny sign boards or some weird name of a place. This week I found New York! Pic below. We also just went up some mountains trying to find people. Even the mountain people need the gospel and ordinances. Good times.  Now we are up to Busschau 3 - Rat (we have found out that these are RATS) 0. That's what they get for peeing on my clothes.  So I have 2 more pdays after today. Busschau 2 - Mouse 0

Yeah we have a mouse problem. Let's just say these little guys don't live long when I see them. I can send pictures If asked for. Hope all of you are doing well! I've had a pretty good week. We had our first interviews with President Beeson. It was wonderful, I'm very grateful for his inspiration and advice. I can feel he was truly sent to this mission for a purpose.  This week we were able to put one of our good friends on date for baptism. Her name is Sister Vida and she is a mother to 5 children. She has been being taught by missionaries for long time and finally I get the privilege to be the missionary who will witness her baptism (hopefully). She has shown lots of faith and we've had some great spiritual lessons with her. Hopefully she will keep to her commitments and she will be baptized on the 19th August.
