Country Roads, Take Me Home...
People who can't prounce my name don't call me Elder Bush for nothing!! It's beautiful out here! Hey everybody! Hope we are all doing great. I am now in Oyoko. Let me tell you a little about the week.
Beginning of the week was sad saying goodbye to all of my wonderful friends in Bethlehem. I've really made some good friendships out there. Then a guy named Muhammed lifted up my whole bike with his mouth. Pic below. One of my good friends gave me a water bottle. How kind. Interesting gift but I know it meant a lot. After all the goodbyes I had to get packing and get ready to go to my last area on mission. Oyoko.
Thursday comes around and it's transfer day. Starts early morning, we start sending missionaries to their new zones and then areas. After a little bit I pack my things in the van that is going to my new zone called koforidua. I met my companion Elder Mabuku and we off. About 3 hours later and tons of beautiful views I wish I took pictures of, we got there. We drop other missionaries off and then I got to my area.
It's a beautiful area and so far seems like it has great people. Only unfortunate thing is that we only have pressurized water in out kitchen sink which means I have to fill a bucket to take showers. Bucket showers for the last few months! Yeah. Other than that it's cool. My new companion is cool. He is from Zimbabwe and goes home next month. Some good work to be done here.
Friday we had to go back down to Accra to have our Mission Leadership Council meeting and that just takes about 6 hours round trip alone. Was a super cool meeting and the last half we just shared testimonies because literally half of the people in the meeting go home this transfer including my companion. Spirit filled meeting.
Next week Wednesday we will meet with Elder Gong so that is exciting.
That's about it for this week though. Pics of my area below. I'm still very greatful for all the support you all give me. I love you all! Write me if you have a second! Alright till next week.
Much Love,
Elder Busschau.
