When Prayers Go Answered

Another one gone like that. These weeks are going. Unfortunately not a lot happened this week. So this email won't be that cool. But we did have a cool miracle.

First half of the week was cool. We just had our normal district council meeting and we also had an exchange with Elder Sperry and Elder Momoh. I went with Elder Momoh from Nigeria. Cool guy. Had a good exchange.

We are teaching this kid named Phillip who is super smart and just one of my favorite kids to teach. He is almost 17 and his family wants to become members. The unfortunate thing was he just went to boarding school today. Friday we went and saw him for the last time. Sad time but he'll be back in about month and half. Pics below.

Our miracle this was we have been meeting with this less active recently. We found Monica by inspiration and by her own fervent and heartfelt prayers to find the church in her area. It turns out she was a member in an area called Teshie but once moved, never found the church in this area. It's been about 1 year and 3 months since and we found her about a month ago. We were able to tell her where the church is and talk with her about some things. She finally made some time and made it to church. She bore a great testimony in church and how she has been going to other churches in the meantime and has never felt the same feeling she gets when he comes to (her) church(The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and has now re-committed herself to coming to church. Was great to see. Cool experience and a good reminder that our Heavenly Father may just use YOU to answer somebody's prayer. Always be ready and open to what comes.

That's about it for this week though. This coming Saturday we get transfer news. A lot of change is happening in the mission this transfer because of a lot of people going home so we will see what happens. My guess is that I'll get a new companion probably. But I'll let you all know next email.

This last week was also my 2 year mark of when I got my mission call. Crazy how time flies. So grateful. Alright love yall.

Much love,

Elder Busschau.
