The Peacemaker

Hey Everybody. We are back at it once again. I hope you have all had a great week. If you read my subject line, then you may have a good idea how my week went but let us talk about it. 



Tuesday. We had a wonderful zone conference! It was really good and talked about Characters of Christ and how we can better use the Book of Mormon better as it is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. The spirit was good and there was good food so I'm happy for it. Another thing I want to point out is we all know we are saved from physical death because of Jesus Christ and his death and grace which is great! But a question was posed which was "How are you changed by His grace?" Good question. 



Wednesday we worked in my area Sangonaa and it was pretty solid. Taught some good lessons and were able to visit some cool people. 



Thursday we did about 4 hours of weekly planning haha. We had to plan for both areas as they are both strong and so it took a lot of time. But afterwards we were still able to have several lessons in both areas so it was nice.



Friday we worked all day in teshie 1 area. Saw some of Elder Odedina's people and taught them. Felt the spirit pretty strongly as I taught in a few of the lessons so I really enjoyed going around. 



Saturday we had an exchange with our APs (Assistant to the President). It was fun! They have a cool area and a very busy one too. Remember exchange is when either they come or I go to their area and we teach together for a whole day. We do this to learn from eachother and to help eachother out. I also did some baptismal interviews for them and met some really cool people. Was good day.



Sunday was good. Since we are over two congregations now we have 4 hours of church but it's nice. Afterwards we met some members and tried to see some people who didn't come to church. Was another good day. 



Now to address my subject. If you ever see me when I get home then remind me to tell you why I wrote the peacemaker haha. Sorry not sorry. I'll just say that I've had to help people make some peace. 



Good week overall though. Sorry not too much to report about but this week but we get transfer news finally so in the Next email I'll be able to say if there is any change coming. I love you all though!!!! Alright till next time.

The Last *Full* Week

Yep, you read it correctly. This upcoming week is my last Monday to Sunday on mission. The week after I go home. Fly home that is. What an exhilarating time to be in. I am excited. But till that day comes, I'm here working and putting my last finishing touches in Ghana. The work is sweet, divine, and no where near my own work, but I'm here helping it.  This past week we've had some interesting experiences. We met an old African American women who was anti and didn't like white people. Was sad to see, someone so lost believing anything she sees online and giving no time or thought to the actual truth. Where truth is the spirit manifests itself, during that conversation there was no spirit, and not an ounce of happiness from her face. The gospel I Share brings joy to my heart everytime and to others it is shared with, as they embrace it. Please remember this when going around sifting through truth. The Home Stretch

I'm just going to say sorry right now that these last couple emails are probably going to be short because there's just a lot of preparation going on and just a lot of teaching, nothing big is really happening right now. So with that... I had a good exchange on Wednesday with some Elders. I went with Elder Miles from Utah. He has a lot of potential.  We did a lot of finding this week with trying to find new people to teach. We will always see some funny sign boards or some weird name of a place. This week I found New York! Pic below. We also just went up some mountains trying to find people. Even the mountain people need the gospel and ordinances. Good times.  Now we are up to Busschau 3 - Rat (we have found out that these are RATS) 0. That's what they get for peeing on my clothes.  So I have 2 more pdays after today. Busschau 2 - Mouse 0

Yeah we have a mouse problem. Let's just say these little guys don't live long when I see them. I can send pictures If asked for. Hope all of you are doing well! I've had a pretty good week. We had our first interviews with President Beeson. It was wonderful, I'm very grateful for his inspiration and advice. I can feel he was truly sent to this mission for a purpose.  This week we were able to put one of our good friends on date for baptism. Her name is Sister Vida and she is a mother to 5 children. She has been being taught by missionaries for long time and finally I get the privilege to be the missionary who will witness her baptism (hopefully). She has shown lots of faith and we've had some great spiritual lessons with her. Hopefully she will keep to her commitments and she will be baptized on the 19th August.
