Loving Bethlehem (Transfer?)

Good whatever time it is for you! Hope you all are doing well. My week has been all over the place but we had some miracles so we were chilling. God is good.  



Tuesday we had District Council and it was great. One of the APs (Elder Johnson) was going home so he gave his testimony and it was sad to see him leave but I'm grateful to know him. Afterwards we were in teshie 1 area with Elder Odedina the whole day. Met some cool people so that was great. Not much happend though.



Wednesday we were in my area (Sangonaa) and we worked hard. We were preparing Both alex and elvis for baptism the coming Saturday. Both were looking good for the baptism. We also saw several other friends and talked with them. Appointments fell through but we found other people to talk to. Another good day. 



Thursday we had our 4 hours of weekly planning since again we have to plan for two areas haha. After some good planning and we were able to teach our good friends Lilian and Perfect. After that we were in teshie teaching for the rest of the day. 



Friday we had exchange with my zone leaders! It was fun and we did a lot of work. I went with Elder Sager and he's from idaho. Cool guy. We taught a lot of people and he also did our interviews for people being baptised. Alex will have to wait a little until he can get baptised but elvis is good and ready! Was a good time. 



Saturday we got our transfer news. To my surprise I have been called to be a zone leader myself and I'll be with my day one guy Elder Loving. He's my tc so the guy I came to Ghana with. I'm excited for it. I'll be going to an area called bethlehem. Still in ghana though haha. Its pretty close to zenu actually so really there just sending me back which kinda sucks but I guess there is something for me there. So I'll be loving bethlehem. Ill leave this coming Wednesday. We also had our baptism for Elvis this day!! Was very cool and was way happy for him. He was excited to. Pics below. Spirit was strong and he is a strong soul. After the baptism we taught some people and then I had to go do a baptismal interview for my zone leaders. Cool time. 



Sunday was sad. I really have come to love sangonaa and the Ward. Even though I wasn't here for long they really built a relationship with me. The bishops wife played God be with you till we meet again as the closing Hymn and my eyes started sweating. Weird. Cool people. But then someone asked me if I can find her a husband in USA because she's attracted to white men and then that changed the energy but it was nice for the most part haha. We also had Elvis confirmation which was really cool. Him receiving the holy ghost and being confirmed a member. After church we went around teshie again and I called my district one last time as their district leader. I'll miss this place but I'm excited for what's next. 



Well that's it for this week. This Wednesday is the transfer so I'll let you all know how bethlehem is. Should be nice. Write me if you want, I love reading them. Remember your exactly where your supposed to be. Just feel and learn. Till next week.

The Last *Full* Week

Yep, you read it correctly. This upcoming week is my last Monday to Sunday on mission. The week after I go home. Fly home that is. What an exhilarating time to be in. I am excited. But till that day comes, I'm here working and putting my last finishing touches in Ghana. The work is sweet, divine, and no where near my own work, but I'm here helping it.  This past week we've had some interesting experiences. We met an old African American women who was anti and didn't like white people. Was sad to see, someone so lost believing anything she sees online and giving no time or thought to the actual truth. Where truth is the spirit manifests itself, during that conversation there was no spirit, and not an ounce of happiness from her face. The gospel I Share brings joy to my heart everytime and to others it is shared with, as they embrace it. Please remember this when going around sifting through truth. The Home Stretch

I'm just going to say sorry right now that these last couple emails are probably going to be short because there's just a lot of preparation going on and just a lot of teaching, nothing big is really happening right now. So with that... I had a good exchange on Wednesday with some Elders. I went with Elder Miles from Utah. He has a lot of potential.  We did a lot of finding this week with trying to find new people to teach. We will always see some funny sign boards or some weird name of a place. This week I found New York! Pic below. We also just went up some mountains trying to find people. Even the mountain people need the gospel and ordinances. Good times.  Now we are up to Busschau 3 - Rat (we have found out that these are RATS) 0. That's what they get for peeing on my clothes.  So I have 2 more pdays after today. Busschau 2 - Mouse 0

Yeah we have a mouse problem. Let's just say these little guys don't live long when I see them. I can send pictures If asked for. Hope all of you are doing well! I've had a pretty good week. We had our first interviews with President Beeson. It was wonderful, I'm very grateful for his inspiration and advice. I can feel he was truly sent to this mission for a purpose.  This week we were able to put one of our good friends on date for baptism. Her name is Sister Vida and she is a mother to 5 children. She has been being taught by missionaries for long time and finally I get the privilege to be the missionary who will witness her baptism (hopefully). She has shown lots of faith and we've had some great spiritual lessons with her. Hopefully she will keep to her commitments and she will be baptized on the 19th August.
