Good morning my people! This week was a pretty good week if I say so myself and it ended on a good note! Let's talk about it.


 

Tuesday we had District Council like always but District councils are soon about to get more interesting and ill talk about that in a second. Afterwards we all went to pizza hut to celebrate Halloween! It was very very nice. I always forget how good it is until I have some again haha. And yes for those of you wondering, out of all the options you could get I still choose cheese pizza. And because of that I had a large cheese pizza. Best thing. After that we went back to our area and taught some good people. Nothing too interesting. 


 

Wednesday was good. We had some appointments fall through and some disappointments but the day finished off good. Taught some good people and recent converts.


 

Thursday we had our weekly planning as always. We planned pretty well and got some plans to put people on date for baptism. Afterwards we taught some of our progressing people and had a jolly ole time. 


 

Friday again we had some appointments fall through but it was good still. We were still able to meet with some of our best people so it was good.


 

Saturday we got transfer news!! So the moment you have all been waiting for..... Im staying another transfer with Elder Bentley haha. But that's expected since I'm still training him. BUT I have become a District Leader now! This just means I have to run the District Council meetings and plan exchanges for people and some other things. I'm a little nervous but I'm excited nonetheless! I go for a in-person training this Friday so I'll let you all know how they goes. Afterwards we went to katamonsu like always and taught our good people there. Now some of you have followed the journey of Isaac with me. If you remember him he is very dedicated and believes in everything but just has a smoking problem. Welp as of the last two weeks he has gotten rid of those friends and has been clean for a full two weeks! He's so happy with himself and now we have put him on date for baptism the 27th of this month. So excited for him.


 

Sunday was wild. We had a good day at church with some good attendance from our investigators and the members were good. But we had a program after church at the stake center where the Africa west area Presidency was there. It was a spoken word and it. Was. An experience!! Haha. Now I truly wish I could send a video here but email won't allow me to do that so please go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Africa West Area on Facebook and go to there recent live video that is the Spoken Word and then go to the time 1:25:00 and you'll see me dancing it up and what the program was like haha. It was an experience I won't soon forget. The choir was amazing and goosebumps all the time. Such an eye opening experience.


 

Anyways thats it for this week. New transfer starts this Wednesday and that's when I start as a District Leader. I go for my training this Friday at President Youngs House so that should be interesting. Today we have a District activity so that Will be fun too. Love and miss all of you guys! The Last *Full* Week

Yep, you read it correctly. This upcoming week is my last Monday to Sunday on mission. The week after I go home. Fly home that is. What an exhilarating time to be in. I am excited. But till that day comes, I'm here working and putting my last finishing touches in Ghana. The work is sweet, divine, and no where near my own work, but I'm here helping it.  This past week we've had some interesting experiences. We met an old African American women who was anti and didn't like white people. Was sad to see, someone so lost believing anything she sees online and giving no time or thought to the actual truth. Where truth is the spirit manifests itself, during that conversation there was no spirit, and not an ounce of happiness from her face. The gospel I Share brings joy to my heart everytime and to others it is shared with, as they embrace it. Please remember this when going around sifting through truth. The Home Stretch

I'm just going to say sorry right now that these last couple emails are probably going to be short because there's just a lot of preparation going on and just a lot of teaching, nothing big is really happening right now. So with that... I had a good exchange on Wednesday with some Elders. I went with Elder Miles from Utah. He has a lot of potential.  We did a lot of finding this week with trying to find new people to teach. We will always see some funny sign boards or some weird name of a place. This week I found New York! Pic below. We also just went up some mountains trying to find people. Even the mountain people need the gospel and ordinances. Good times.  Now we are up to Busschau 3 - Rat (we have found out that these are RATS) 0. That's what they get for peeing on my clothes.  So I have 2 more pdays after today. Busschau 2 - Mouse 0

Yeah we have a mouse problem. Let's just say these little guys don't live long when I see them. I can send pictures If asked for. Hope all of you are doing well! I've had a pretty good week. We had our first interviews with President Beeson. It was wonderful, I'm very grateful for his inspiration and advice. I can feel he was truly sent to this mission for a purpose.  This week we were able to put one of our good friends on date for baptism. Her name is Sister Vida and she is a mother to 5 children. She has been being taught by missionaries for long time and finally I get the privilege to be the missionary who will witness her baptism (hopefully). She has shown lots of faith and we've had some great spiritual lessons with her. Hopefully she will keep to her commitments and she will be baptized on the 19th August.
