New Month

Aeeikoo!!

Another week down and the start of a new month. This week went very well and there was a lot of good lessons that felt meaningful.

Tuesday we had our regular district council meeting. That went well and learned how to work with members better. Afterwards we got some food and and in the evening time we were able to meet with Adom and she was great! We've even seen her four times this past week teaching her and hope to baptise her this Sunday!! She's ready and willing to hear.

Wednesday we met with some good people and were able to answer this Muslims questions and exchange knowledge with eachother. This Muslim is different from Fattah who we saw last week. In the evening time we met with a nice member named Sister Yeboah. She gave us a nice meal of rice and stew and we shared a short message.

Thursday we had a nice weekly planning and was able to plan for our week. Afterwards we were able to meet a recent convert and we were able to teach him about how important church is and that he should prepare to go to the temple soon! He was excited to hear how he could be able to go to the temple in just a few months so that was cool to see the joy in his eyes. We met with Adom later that night and had a nice lesson.

Friday we had an exchange so Elder Nicholes went with my District Leader and Elder Hircshi came with me. We had a good day. We were able to see Thomas who we helped last Sunday with his broken leg! He's doing better now that he has some care and we also gave him a Priesthood Blessing to help his leg. Afterwards he was saying how he was starting to feel better. He also knows that he needs to change some things in his life so he can come closer to Christ. Such a cool guy. After that we met with Adom again.

Saturday was a dream haha. We first met with Olivia and we finally put her on date for baptism! She still has some work to do so it's planned for next month but I can see the progress she is making. After that we had lunch/dinner with a member named Randy. Let's just say he is a little wealthy and took us out to a nice place haha. Best meal I've had here in Ghana! Very refreshing and amazing. Pics down below.

Sunday we had a great day at church and meeting with everyone. Sunday evening we met with a person who was taught previously a long time ago and started teaching her again. Her name is Gloria but hopefully she finds some more intrest this time around.

That's it for this week everyone! We had some challenges but overall this week was good! As always I'm thankful for all the support you all give me and love you all!  Family's are important!

Best,

Elder Busschau.
