New Transfer

Hello Everyone!

This week has felt very long but also short so just like every other week haha.

Last Monday we had a district activity and it was nice! We went to a members house and their house is very nice and was able to hang out with all my district members.

Tuesday we had our last district council of the transfer and we all said our goodbyes to the people leaving elsewhere. Tuesday night we had a nice lady we met with and her name is Beatrice. She schooled in London and that's where she first heard of us but now she's back home so she has more time to focus on what we teach which is cool!

Wednesday was interesting to say the least. Wednesday was transfer day so all the new people were coming in and old people leaving. We helped our zone leaders out because we are pretty close to the stake Center. Anyways, when we were all done, we started leaving and zone leaders got in a taxi and headed off. We get a call about 5 min later from the zone leaders saying they just got t-boned by another taxi lol. So we ran over and helped them out. Nobody was hurt luckily but a crazy experience to say the least. And that's not even all of the crazy for that day. Wednesday night I'm riding my bike back to our apartment from getting some fried rice and all of the sudden I see this huge guy with hands the size of my head start coming towards me saying "you f****** stupid boy I'm going to slap you!" Luckily we biked away in time but was scary haha. Turns out though he was just very drunk because we saw him a couple days later and he didn't say anything.

Thursday not too much happened. We taught a institute class for legon branch because the teacher was out so that was interesting. Good people all around though.

Friday there wasn't much either. Had a nice member meal though and just talked with people all around.

Saturday was same as Friday except no member meal. We did meat with a women named Olivia and her son Austin who said they want to get baptised which is very cool. So we will continue teaching them and help them get there!

Sunday was good too. Found out I'm giving a talk next Sunday so thats fun. We went contacting with the whole Legon Branch on Sunday too though which was so cool! Only for like an hour but we got so many contacts. Legon branch is some cool people.

That's it for this week. Was an interesting week for sure and I'm grateful for the experiences I'm getting. Very very grateful for the friends I've made along the way too. Especially hotdog. Hope you all have a grate week. And email me on how life is! How you all doing?

Best,

Elder Busschau.
