Listen To Him

2021 Done and 2022 straight ahead. This past week has been very nice but an enduring one for sure.

We were unable to meet with a lot of the people we would have like to meet with because of the holidays and people being out of town. So thats been not as cool and lately we have been meeting a lot of people where they are serious when we first meet with them but then they never call back or keep pushing us off. So we are just pushing along hoping some things go back to normal after the rush of the holidays.

George was able to come on Sunday to get confirmed which was very nice and awesome to see. He just seemed very happy to be there and grateful for what he has found which is awesome.

We had interviews with the mission president this past week which was good. He was telling me how the area I am in (Madina) was like the third ward to open in Accra Ghana so it has been around for a while now.

We went to our second area legon for a lesson that ended up falling through but we walked around the legon forest which was pretty cool. I took some pictures so you all could see. It was very pretty and peaceful. Just silent hearing the birds chirp. Was one of the first times where it was just silent from the outside. Was quite refreshing. Crazy how nature can just feel like a reset button. It's very calming.

New years was pretty cool, not much really happened but excited to start my one full year as a missionary. I've learned so much  already its crazy to see. I still have plenty to learn though and an infinite amount of experiences to go through just like we all do. We never stop learning, but the second we do we stop growing. Jacob 4:10 tells us to seek council from the Lord and not to tell Him what to do. Its funny to think that we have to be told sometimes to not tell God what to do but we find ourselves slowly but surely doing it every once in a while. Just take a step back and listen to what he has to say, may surprise you what your missing out on.

That's about it for this week. Enjoy the New year! Miss you all! And for this week, Remember to Listen!

Best,

Elder Busschau.
