Alright Everybody, another week past.
Tuesday we had district council as usual and it was the last one in the transfer so the people leaving said goodbye and stuff like that. Wednesday was the start of the new transfer and we now have two new people in my district which I'll see on Tuesday which is tomorrow. Thursday we were able to teach this guy named Solomon. He is actually pretty cool guy and he is the security guard for the adidas store here. The only issue is he hasn't come to church yet so we are praying he will continue to be interested and to come. Thursday night I had the opportunity to give a blessing which was awesome. A brother wanted a blessing of comfort for his exams coming the next day so he asked us if we can give him one and we of course said yes. Cool experience. Friday not too much happened, taught Solomon again and met with a member for small time. Saturday was cool, we had a guy come to us and says he wants to be a missionary haha. So we are teaching him but we are not sure yet how he will progress. Sunday was nice, talked with some good people and finally got one of our friends to come to church after over a month of talking with him. So that was sweet.
Now to address my subject. I think its spelled like that but it is the hamatan. This is where the Sahara Desert winds and dust come all the way down Africa and meets Ghana. It sucks all the moisture in the air and turns real dry and dusty an windy. Like a desert. This is the dry season for you. Not my favourite but we are managing haha. But it is cool to think that the dust in the air and on the ground is from the Sahars Desert.
2 Nephi 31:19
And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save.
Best,
Elder Busschau.
