One Month??
Good day everybody!
Quite a few things happened this week. We had another baptism, interviews with the mission president, haircut, and snail?
Last Saturday we baptized a girl named Jennifer and confirmed her on Sunday. She was great! She made a lot of big changes in order to be baptized so it was cool to see her take that step.
Wednesday we had interviews with the mission president so that was nice to talk with him and revieve council. Transfer is in about a week and half so we will see what happens.
Now I know you have all been waiting to see this haircut lol. So I went to someone who has never cut white people hair. To be honest, not half bad. He kind of put a black person haircut on me haha. But could have been much worse so I'm happy with what I got.
We went to a members house who served us pasta with meat and it was very good. About half way through eating my companion says is that regular meat or snail? And I go "regular meat or what?!?" He then tried it and let me know it was snail, so I tried snail this week haha. I guess its not that bad if you don't know what your eating, I think i'll prefer it that way from here on out haha.
Days are long but the weeks are going by, as said in the subject, it has already been a little longer than month in Africa! Days are still hard but there is growing in that, and learning. There are also good days like eating a "good snail" haha. But with time and faith i'll be thriving here soon enough.
Always always appreciate the support and encouraging words. Thank you to everybody for being here with me!
Much love,
Elder Busschau.
