Baptism
Hello Everybody!
This week I had my fist baptism where my companion and I also taught the person! His name is David and he is 12. He seems pretty happy to be here so that was cool to see.
On Friday we went on exchanges which means I was with a different missionary the whole day which was a cool experience. It was my first time actually leading the day which was both nice and a little scary. In the end the day went really well and a good experience over all.
I had pizza for the first time here and it was gooood! When we went to district council which is like meeting where a group of missionaries go and talk about their weeks, there is a KFC near by the building so I was able to get that! The foods here are still very interesting, I'm still getting used to them slowly but surely.
The weeks still go by with ups and downs with good days and then just days, but as I push and try my best to stay focused I get through them. Mission definitely isn't easy, but it's definitely a growing experience that I'll remember forever.
I'm going to try to get my first haircut today by someone who has never cut white people hair so this will be interesting. Next weeks email will let you know how it goes haha.
Last week when I went to zone conference I forgot to mention I saw baboons on the side of the road just chillin! That was wild.
Again thank you all always for you support and love, really helps me get through the weeks. Much love, Elder Busschau.
